[ Riku disappears first. Vanished in her sleep, in the middle of the night, collapsing in on herself in a shimmer of starlights. This isn't like last time. No warnings, no chances to say goodbye, no hesitation or resistance. She just isn't there.

Lea goes minutes after Riku, in the same way. But she's awake, lounging on her couch, having a conversation as she flips through her phone. Here and then gone, like a flame. This isn't the first time either of them have gone home, but it's the first time it's so abrupt. At least it isn't death. The last time Riku went home was seven years ago. She was gone for a month, and she came back with shorter hair and the Mark of Mastery. The last time Lea went home, no one really noticed. She thought she was used to it by now.

Things are different this time. Disorienting. Lea meets Kai in the training, for real this time. Riku has her memories, or at least most of them. They're hazy, dreamlike, but real. She has them all. She remembers how old she really is and how long she's been gone. She remembers everyone she cares about, and everyone that won't change here. She keeps her ice magic and takes what she's learned here to use there. But time is fluid. She doesn't feel like she's been gone for seven years.

Lea's are gone, for now. She lives everything new and fresh, with the dressing room appearing only in dreams vivid enough to unsettle her.

Things aren't the same for every world.

Things go better than expected.

The core story is the same. The heroes rescue the ones that need it, they bring everyone back, they defeat the darkness, and they go home. How and when and who — these things vary, but they do it all together and they go home together. And then their story is over, at least for now, and they come back.

Unlike how they went out, Lea and Riku reappear together on the beach. Coming back is just as disorienting, and neither has their phone, so they get their bearings and confirm memories with each other, of the dressing room and of home, and then separate to find their friends.

They've been gone two months. ]

[it's not, but that's better, it means Lea won't get her off in two and a half minutes. she's extremely turned on but she also has stamina and very little drive to like. demand that someone do something to her. it still feels amazing, and she's still breathing erratically, so Lea must be doing something right. she's gonna just. get her fingers caught in Lea's unruly hair and admire her and feel a lot of feels over how they got here.]

[ Good. Fingers in her hair is super hot, and she likes it. She likes being where she is, period, and even though this is a new experience she can already tell she's hooked. Lea has always been someone who liked making other people happy, but this is a different level of that, and it's Isa. And honestly, she might be a dumbass, but she can tell Isa's needed it for a while. She's not trying to get her to finish immediately, luckily, but she does speed up what she's doing, cutting it occasionally with slow, deliberate drags of her tongue to see what kind of reactions she can get, and so no one thing starts to be too much. ]

[god, that probably started when they were kids and Isa discovered she could scritch Lea's head like a dog and get her to go all boneless. it was a good way to shut her up, i bet. anyway, it's less that she's needed this for a while, because before this it'd been the two months Lea was gone plus the two weeks or so between Isa recompleting and ending up here, and more that she needed Lea. without even knowing it, for a long time. that's a lot of why this is so different for her. all of it's good, and she wouldn't be able to place any one thing that she likes more or that feels better than anything else, just that it's happening and Lea's the one doing it is enough to get her there eventually, but...]

[ Oh. She's glad Isa's mentioned it, though, because it was a thing Lea had penned in the back of her mind to try when it was her turn to do this, and she'd already become so overwhelmed that she'd forgotten it. She hums against her to show she understands, then softly slides a hand up over Isa's thigh and then dips it down between them so she can feel it out, exploring folds and places her mouth hasn't gotten to yet, and working to get her fingers nice and wet. ]

[Isa would drop her head back and relax, but she wants to watch and be able to see Lea, that feels important right now. her breathing is so shaky right now and her heart is racing, she hasn't felt this off-balance in a while, but it's alright, that's good sometimes! Lea's hair is like a lifeline under her fingers, and there's a slight tremble in her legs.]

[ Hear that? That's the sound of Lea's ego expanding. The emotional connection here is the real star, but now that she's able to explore a new side of Isa, and see her in a sexual way, it's extremely hot to be doing this at all, to make her feel good and hopefully get her off. Her eyes were half-lidded, but they close completely when she says that, in pure bliss, and she presses two of her fingers inside. ]

[Isa's definitely, one hundred percent going to die, maybe. her Heart is racing too, and she's gratified to see that reaction from Lea, right before she lets a soft little "oh" escape at the fingers, because fuck that's what this needed. Lea will be able to feel her clench around them, needily, because that's always a good start for her but she's also come once already and is extremely turned on.]

[ God, imagine if she was good at this, and not just an enormous, inexperienced dweeb. She's into it, that much is obvious, but it's also turning her on more and she isn't really sure how to pace herself or balance between nerves, going for it, and breathing. Speaking of that one, she moves away to rest the side of her face on Isa's thigh, gripping it with her free hand and trying to catch her breath. That's inconvenient though, so she props herself up on the free arm, leaning over Isa with her full height. The hand between her legs hasn't really stopped moving, and now she has a better angle for it.

[not many people are genuinely good at this sort of thing, not that either of these two would know that. it's the feelings and emotions it elicits that that are important, and Isa's feeling a lot right now. she wants to wrap herself up in Lea and never stop this that they're doing.

she probably looks adoring, and reaches up to sink her other hand into Lea's hair along with the first, and tugs her face down to kiss her chin, the corners of her mouth, her cheeks. Isa's breathless, her hips rocking gently against Lea's hand, and wants more but understands the need for air.]
